Speaking as a mother, the knowledge that my daughter has been given such a warm welcome comforts me a lot. When your children are far away, no matter what age they are, you want to know that they're in a safe and friendly place, and also that they're happy.
After spending the last 8 months travelling around the middle and far East as well as Australia, they'll now be spending a year in one place. So far, they love it.

Wow! Good for them! How nice that they received such a warm welcome in Korea! Hopefully you will get to visit sometime in the year.
Oh Dabrah...She is so far away, but knowing that she is safe and in good companies help a lot..
A nephew and niece are just in the process of leaving that job. They enjoyed it and are moving on.
How wonderful they were received so warmly. I hope they enjoy this new job. :)
Thats great! My OlderSon went to Korea (Seoul) to teach English a few years ago, but only stayed a month. Not because he didn't like it, but because he had been looking for a job in broadcasting and couldn't find one, so took the teaching job, then got a job offer here in Canada doing what he really wanted to do, so came back. He really regrets that he wasn't able to stay in Korea longer, as he was enjoying the life and the people, but he has no regrets about taking the broadcasting job as he now works for a local sports TV network and loves it!
Sounds great for them to sit still for awhile!
Don't worry too much Mom!!
